The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is responsible for a wide variety of engineering functions that support the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of Kentucky’s roadways.  Divisions in Central Office provide guidance, support, and expertise for these functions.

This series of articles describes the roles and responsibilities of each Division.  The information benefits early career employees and new hires by describing the organizational structure of the branches within each division. The purpose and mission and the responsibilities of each branch are listed as well. These articles will help direct KYTC employees to the correct location of required resources that are encountered on the path to completing a project.
